I spent the summer of 2017 painting a halfpipe-sized mandala in my friend's backyard in Inman Sq. I started with a multicolor wash background and then painted over it, incorporating symbols and imagery inspired by the stories of the people who lived there. The halfpipe now lives on MIT Campus.
